The stylish apartment of over 1,300 sq.ft. design by Impression Design Workshop is equipped with over 30 meters of Philips Hue Light Strips to generate light settings with different colour themes. The light strips can change their colour tones from warm to cold, and to any colour desired by the user.

INSIGHTS & INNOVATION
The Control Free platform was seamlessly integrated with various systems, such as motorized curtains, ACs, TV, AV equipment, as well as the Philips Hue lighting system, so that they can configured separately or combined into customized scenes and be controlled remotely through our smart home app. With our app, the user can either control each Philips Hue light strip individually, or as a group, just like in the original Philips Hue app. They can control other home devices and appliances without having to change between apps of different brands.

All lighting face plates from Schneider – AvatorOn were aligned with existing traditional light switches, so that pre-set scenes can be activated with Aeotec Scene Switch Keypads, and the lighting dimming levels can be controlled by pressing just one button, and by pre-set time schedules. The client can also set up a visual notification queue, where the Philips Hue lights in the living room would turn red when the humidity sensor detects a relative humidity of 70% or above.

One tiny smart hub connects all devices and systems, and requires no physical server. The wireless lighting control system has reduced costs associated with conventional conduit and wiring by 50%.
